Shell SPIRAX S6 DCT E 75W-80 is a specifically designed transmission oil for the Eaton® Procision® automatic transmission designed for medium duty commercial trucks. It meets the Eaton® PS-278 standard in a synthetic technology formulation designed for the dual-clutch transmission.

Features

• High performance in medium duty dual-clutch transmissions - Friction retention, friction durability and excellent shear stability to ensure excellent clutch response in the Eaton® Procision® automatic, dual-clutch transmission. Helps maintain smooth transmission operation by establishing and maintain the correct frictional properties needed by the wet clutch system. The correct friction response under the high pressures and thin lubrication film between clutch plates is critical to prevent slipping and also grabbing of the clutches. Either can limit transmission life and cause poor response.
• Excellent thermal and oxidation stability - Resists thermal and oxidative breakdown under real world performance with synthetic technology base fluids and a precise formulation. Resistance to breakdown help provide long oil life. Prevention of deposits to help maintain heat transfer out of the oil.
• Maintains operation under a wide temperature range Maintains operation under a wide temperature range - Synthetic technology base fluid with high viscosity indices provide proper protection and oil flow from -40C to +150C. Maintaining oil performance under harsh conditions and a wide temperature range is needed to meet whatever conditions the vehicle operates under. The high viscosity index provides a constant viscosity under these conditions as well as under harsh service.
• Helps maintain transmission seals - Compatible with fluorocarbon and polyacrylate seals used in Eaton® Procision® transmissions to help maintain transmission against leakage.
